Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has hits back at comments by Spartak Moscow boss, Massimo Carrera that he has spoken with Antonio Conte about Reds’ style of play ahead of their Champions League showdown.
Carrera came out to reveal that his discussion with the Chelsea boss over their clash with Liverpool on Tuesday, admitting that they spoke about Klopp’s style of play.
Responding to the comments, the Liverpool boss said his side won against Chelsea so Conte does not have much to say despite the fact that they won the Premier League last season.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss stressed the fact that he does not need to ask any former colleagues about his opponents.
Chelsea have not been able to beat Liverpool since Antonio Conte took over, with their only decent result been a draw at Anfield last season.
Meanwhile, the Reds are also in search of their first win in the Champions League this season when they face Spartak Moscow in a tricky tie on Tuesday night.
Liverpool have not been too impressive in the Premier League in recent games, recording their first win in three games with a 3-2 win over Leicester City last Saturday. Jurgen Klopp will hope his boys continue in their winning mentality when they face the Russian side.
