Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker has revealed that he will not hesitate to move to Manchester United if the opportunity arises.
The 22-year-old was a subject of transfer interest from several clubs during the last summer transfer window, with reports that United were keen on adding him to their ranks.
Jose Mourinho is believed to be a keen admirer of Dendoncker’s abilities and wanted to add him to his midfield setup since they played against Anderlecht in the Europa League.
United went on to sign Nemanja Matic from Chelsea, but the Belgian midfielder has come out to reveal that he is looking to leave Anderlecht in the near future, and would not hesitate at the chance of joining Manchester United.
Paris Saint Germain are also believed to be keen on adding the midfielder to their ranks, when asked about the possibility of joining Manchester United instead, he told Sport/Foot: ‘If it was as authentic approach as was being said, if they wanted me at all costs no matter what, I’d already been there. ‘When you play for Anderlecht and you have the chance to go there, you don’t hesitate, but Anderlecht had their bit to say. Everyone had to agree.’
‘Assuming Anderlecht have asked for a lot of money from them, it’s because they knew it would be difficult, and, at that time of the year, the price was over exaggerated.’
