Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho raged at his players during a training session following their 2-1 loss to Huddersfield last Saturday.
The Red Devils shockingly fell to a dismal defeat at the hands of the Premier League newcomers much to the surprise of many Old Trafford faithful who had though their side will continue their fine form in the league as they hope to contend for the title against their city rivals, Manchester City.
Reports from the Carrington training ground have it that Mourinho who was clearly furious with his players for their poor performance, carried his mood to the training session on Monday, yelling at his players as he blasted them for losing against Huddersfield.
Reports in the Daily Mail claim that the former Chelsea boss was critical of his players’ attitude and was even in doubt over their thirst to win games. The news outlet also reported that the Portuguese aimed his aggression at players that flopped during the game and demanded a response from them in subsequent matches.
The Red Devils returned back to winning ways during the League Cup against Swansea City on Tuesday, defeating the Swans to advance into the next round of the EFL Cup. Jose Mourinho will only hope his players continue in such emphatic form when they come up against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday.
