De Gea Sends Message To Man United Fans About Real Madrid

Manchester United have been elated following the reports that their top star refused contract talks with Spanish capital club Real Madrid.

United’s top choice goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly snubbed the advances of Real Madrid who are looking to bring in the Spanish world class goalie to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Since the summer of 2015, President Florentino Perez has made the goalkeeper one of his transfer targets of every window. De Gea almost joined the Spanish club in 2015. However, an 11th hour mistake by both parties ended the fruition of the transfer.

As one of the best players in his position, David de Gea joined the Red Devils in 2011 from capital club rivals Atletico Madrid. He was bought by Sir Alex Ferguson following Edwin Van der Sar’s retirement from football. The Spanish goalkeeper has gone on to be a good replacement for the football legend.

According to Don Balon, De Gea feels Madrid have missed that opportunity in 2015, and he isn’t interested in a move to Spain anytime soon.

Diario Gol also reported that the United goalie was given a deadline to decide his future with the Spanish club, thereafter they will put their focus toward Chelsea’s No1 Thibaut Courtois.
