Reported Manchester United target, Ryan Sessegnon has insisted he will not be leaving Championship side Fulham this month this is according to reports on the Telegraph.
The 17-year old teenage sensational has drawn interests from Man United and Tottenham Hotspur for a while now as he has emerged as a future world star.
The England Under-19 international has however now joined his club, Fulham, in debunking reports of a potential move in the January transfer window.
Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan had earlier stated that the club is not looking to sell their teenage left-back in this month’s window despite the reported interests from the two Premier League sides.
Khan in his statement said;
“As it’s been the subject of a great deal of speculation, I’d like to announce that Ryan Sessegnon is staying with Fulham football club and will not be departing during this January transfer window.”
Both United and Spurs were looking to strengthen their left-back spots with some of their players in that position being linked with moves away from their respective clubs.
Man United have shown more interests of the two as they look to rectify their problems at left-back, they will, however, have to wait at least until the summer if they are to sign the Fulham youngster.
Ryan Sessegnon is able to play at left-back or as a left-winger and has been in superb form for the London club scoring 7 goals in 24 appearances in England’s second-tier competition.
