Former Chelsea player Chris Sutton has criticized Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers for Musonda lack of playing time and his recent outburst with the former Liverpool manager.

The youngster who currently plays for the Scottish giants after completing a loan move in January is one of Chelsea’s most promising youngsters during his days at the Stamford Bridge before moving to Real Betis last season where he performed excellently but the team were relegated to the Segunda second division by the end of the season.

Due to his excellent performances with the La Liga minnows, many Chelsea fans wanted Antonio Conte to integrate him into the Blues first team but their wish wasn’t granted as he was sent to Celtic during the winter transfer window so as to get more first-team action, much to the frustration of the fans

Having joined the high-flying Scottish Champions, the Belgian youngster has found it hard to break into Rodgers’ starting lineup. The youngster striker didn’t help his situation as he took to his verified Instagram account to criticized Rodgers for the treatment he’s got from the manager so far this season.

Chris Sutton told BT Sport that Brendan shouldn’t have discarded the player from his team. According to him, Rodgers should consider the huge cash the club pays as his weekly wages and also consider the player’s quality.

The 21-year-old has played just four matches for the Bhoys in all competitions this season and he has failed to find the back of the net.
