Manchester United and Real are set for a big-time transaction this summer as both clubs are hoping to snatch players from each other.
United were previously linked with Marco Asensio, Gareth Bale, Kovacic, Isco and James Rodriguez. Real Madrid are also willing to capture Paul Pogba, David De Gea and Anthony Martial in the summer.
The latest player who is presently drawing Mourinho’s attention is Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos According to Don Balon. The Spanish publication suggests the German midfielder is desperately considering leaving Santiago Bernabeu by the end of the season due to United’s ‘important offer’.
Just as Real Madrid, the former Premier League Champions are set to bolster their midfield during the summer window ahead of the upcoming season and Mourinho believes with the addition of Toni Kroos to his squad, there will be much stability at the middle of the pitch.
Kroos joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014 and has since been one of the best players for the Los Blancos. He has played 180 matches for the European Champions, scoring and assisting 65 goals in the process but his days at the Spanish Capital could be numbered according to Don Balon.
With Herrera, Marouane Fellaini both leaving and Carrick retiring by the end of the season, Toni Kroos switch to Old Trafford is likely going to happen before the next season begins.
