Chelsea In Shock Move For Mauricio Pochetino As Conte’s Replacement
The Former Premier League Champions Chelsea are reportedly in shock move for Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochetino, who has been nothing but impressive with the North London Club since he joined them in 2014-15 season.
Chelsea are certainly going to end ties with Antonio Conte irrespective of the FA Cup final match outcome. The Italian manager has failed to repeat the feat he achieved with the club in his debut season at Stamford Bridge during last season as he couldn’t lead the team to qualify for next season’s Champions League competition.
According to Sky Sports, the Blues have added the Argentine manager to the list of targeted managers, who they believe are capable of being a perfect replacement for Antonio Conte.
But it remains unknown if Pochetino would want to leave a club as big as Tottenham for Chelsea, who are currently not in their best form.
Tottenham are one of the teams who would be taking part in next season’s Champions League competition, unlike the Blues who failed to qualify after finishing fifth in the League table behind Liverpool.
Though anything is possible in football, it will take lots of pressure and huge-money contract, coupled with eye-catching salary wages to convince Pochetino to leave Tottenham in the summer.
Meanwhile, The Blues will battle Manchester United at the Wembley Stadium in a match which would decide this season’s FA Cup Champions.
