Liverpool midfielder Emre can is poised to undergo a medical in Turin ahead of an impending move to Juventus.

The Germany international is at the final stages of a four-year contract with the Merseyside club and manager Jurgen Klopp apparent willingness to extend the midfielder’s stay at the club, appears to have been futile as the star is on the verge of completing a free transfer to Juventus.

Can, who wasn’t included in Joachim low’s 23- man squad for the World cup struggled with a back problem towards the end of last campaign but recovered fully to make a cameo in the Champions League final loss to Real Madrid.

And according to Sky Sports, negotiations with the midfielder’s representatives have proceeded well and the versatile star would fly down to Italy for a medical, with a deal possibly announced over the coming days,

The Reds acted swiftly to Can’s imminent departure by landing Fabinho on a 46 million pounds deal with Klopp keen to offset the loss of the tough tackler.

Elsewhere, Liverpool have reportedly begun talks with Roma goalkeeper, Allison, despite reports suggesting the shot-stopper would preferably want a move to Spain.
