Chelsea Ready To Confirm Jorginho Signature Alongside Sarri’s Announcement.
Chelsea are on the verge of putting an end to the uncertainty surrounding their Manager’s future as they are reportedly set to announce Maurizio Sarri as the new boss later today.
According to reports from the Stamford Bridge Stadium, the Blues hierarchy will announce Italian manager Maurizio Sarri as Conte’s replacement while the manager is also expected to lure Jorginho to the West London club.
Manchester City were heavily linked with the player’s signature throughout last month, some part of the media even reported that the Citizens have reached an agreement with Napoli for his signature but it turned out to be lacking any truth in it.
Gianluca Di Mario, who is an Italian reporter is suggesting that the Serie A side Chelsea have reached a double agreement with Napoli as they are set to announce the capturing Jorginho and Sarri’s services later today.
However, the Blues have tabled £57.5m for the Italian midfielder, who has seven caps for the Italian national team.
It should be recalled that Sarri and Jorginho worked together during their time at Empoli in 2012. They helped the Serie B side gain promotion to the to the country’s top-flight League by the end of the 2011-12 season. It will be nice to see both parties reunite at Stamford Bridge in the coming season.
