Liverpool Table Huge Offer to Roma For Alisson
The Rome-based newspaper Il Romanista are reporting that Liverpool have tabled an eye-catching offer to Roma for Brazilian netminder Alisson Becker this summer.
The publication are claiming that the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is hoping to beat Chelsea to the goalkeeper’s signature this summer and he has made an official move for his services.
According to the source, the tactician had already offered a bid worth £61.8m for the goaltender. They further report that the Merseyside club are willing to offer him a contract which would earn him a whopping sum of £102,000 as weekly wages.
However, the Reds will have to overcome Chelsea’s challenges if they must capture his signature before the end of the current transaction period.
The Blues are a longtime admirer of the Brazilian player but a move for his signature seems not happening.
With a new boss at Stamford Bridge, the Blues might just be a step from finalizing a deal for his signature.
Meanwhile, Alison’s representative has revealed that the goalkeeper is yet to decide his next move.
Stefano Castagna told reporters that Liverpool are making every move to capture his signature but the player remains moot over his proposed move out of the Italian Serie A side ahead of next season.
Alisson was lively throughout Brazil’s campaign at the just concluded summer world cup and he’s presently on vacation with his family.
