Arsenal star Danny Welbeck is set to be heading out of the Emirates Stadium with Unai Emery set to release the player this summer.
The England international is surplus to requirement this summer as he appears not to be in Emery’s plan for the upcoming season.
Since his move to the Gunners from Old Trafford in 2014, Welbeck has failed to live up to his billings, though, injury also got the best of him during his stay at the club. With new manager at the Emirates Stadium, his future at Arsenal remains unclear.
However, the Sun suggests that the former Paris St-German boss is ready to sanction his move away from the Emirates Stadium as Everton chase after his signature.
The British publication suggests that Marco Silva has picked up interest in the England international and he is hoping to help him rediscover his best form in the coming season, should he decide to join him at the Goodison Park.
Welbeck is in the last year of his contract with the North London outfits but the club are hoping to cash in on his signature this summer. The media also suggest that Everton are set to table £15m offer for the player.
With 15 goals for the club since he joined the team, Welbeck will surely find game-time too hard to come by in the coming season as he won’t be chosen ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Lacazette, Mkhitaryan — who are all proven goalscorers.
