Manchester officially confirmed the signing of a young defender Reece Devine who plays from Manchester City.
The youngster is seen as one furthermore future as he is a 16-year-old player learning to grow in the game.
According to Manchester Evening News, the young defender moved from Manchester City’s academy to the Old Trafford outfits and he will be given the chance to prove his worth with the Reds Devils U-18 team in the coming season
United’s youth manager Nicky Butt is happy to have captured the left-back who looks ready to take over the world in no time. According to the manager, Reece is a youngster with great talent.
In recent years, Manchester City academy is doing well in terms of providing great youngsters into the game, though, they didn’t really make it big with their senior squad.
Kelechi Iheanacho, Lucas Nmecha, Ziyenko, and Tosin Adabioyo are some of the top names produced by the Citizens Academy, who failed to get regular actions under Pep Guardiola.
Having signed up Reece, according to MEN, the player will be hoping to follow the footsteps Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay, Tuanzebe and Jesse Lingard who were all promoted to the senior squad after playing for the youth side.
Reece will definitely add more quality and stability to the club’s defence in the coming season as the young Red Devils are hoping to win the Youth Champions League glory in coming season.
