The Croatian international has been closely related to a big money move in the back of his exploits in the World Cup, but he has decided to stay.
Ante Rebic has put an end to the uncertainty about his future, with the goal of Manchester United and Bayern Munich having signed a new contract at the Eintracht Frankfurt until 2022.
The Croatian winger had hinted that he might be in motion before the summer transfer period closes, but he will not be heading to Old Trafford.
Bayern Munich ruled out signing Croatia’s World Cup forward Ante Rebic, which paved the way for Manchester United to boost a transfer.
The star of Frankfurt, Rebic, emerged as one of the stars of Russia 2018, helping his team reach the final of the tournament before France finally won it.
In an exclusive interview, Rebic revealed that he was happy to hear the interest of José Mourinho, and admitted that there had been “concrete offers” to sign him but it wasn’t going to be possible as the Premier League transfer window closed yesterday.
Mourinho’s team were also linked to another Bayern player in Jerome Boateng, but the player rejected the offer.
United will have its Premier League campaign underway on Friday night as they face Leicester City at Old Trafford.
