PSG preparing last-minute transfer to hijack Arsenal Target Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona – Report
Paris Saint-Germain is preparing a last-minute transfer offer for Barcelona striker and World Cup winner Ousmane Dembele.
The 21-year-old was previously linked with Arsenal, but ruled out a move to the Emirates Stadium earlier this week, indicating his intention to stay at the Camp Nou.
However, PSG hopes to attract him to Ligue 1, where he would join his teammate in France, Kylian Mbappe, and Brazilian striker Neymar to form the strongest attack in club football.
The search for an offensive player is clearly not the priority of recruitment in Paris, but to secure the young world cup winner would not displease Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.
Recently, PSG learnt about the case of Ousmane Dembélé, who between the pressure of his transfer, his injuries and his lifestyle, had a complicated first season in Barcelona. Determined to straighten the bar, the former Rennais winger returned earlier from vacation and displayed his desire to continue with the Spanish champions.
According to reports, Barcelona’s response is far from negative. Even though the Catalan club still believes in Dembélé, it does not close the door to a possible transfer.
