Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba joined the Red Devils in 2016 from Juventus after spending some seasons with the Old Lady.
The 24-year-old Frenchman had earlier featured for the Red Devils during sir Alex Ferguson reign but he couldn’t break into the Scottish starting lineup.
Having failed to win Ferguson’s heart, the France international left Old Trafford for Juventus, where he established himself as one of the best midfielders in the game.
After his surprise turnaround, the player re-joined Manchester United In 2016 for £80m deal which was then the world’s most expensive player.
The Red Devils agreed to pay such huge price for his service due to his exploits for the Scudetto Champions throughout his stay at the Turin-based club.
The player’s weekly salary is another high price as he is being paid £200, 000 by the Red Devils hierarchy as weekly wages.
The Frenchman, who is being tracked by Barcelona, will be hoping to increase his wages when he would be discussing a new deal with the Old Trafford outfits in the nearest future.
His current contract will expire in two years time and Mourinho would be hoping to renew their agreement with the player before that time so as to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
He was on target last Friday for the Red Devils as they defeated Leicester City 2-0 in the first match of the season.
