Sampdoria Joins Tammy Abraham’s Chase

Chelsea young striker Tammy Abraham is getting attention from Serie A side Sampdoria, who are hoping to get him on a loan deal.

According to the Mirror, the former Bristol City’s striker was rated one of the young top scorers in the Championship in the 2016-17 season when he scored 26 goals in 48 matches but he was unable to achieve such feat at Swansea City last season as he couldn’t help the Swans avoid relegation.

Though report claimed last month that the young striker is set to be given important role in the team, he could be heading out if Stamford Bridge as he has little chances of breaking into Sarri’s starting lineup.

With the presence of Olivier Giroud, Alvaro Morata, Ruben, Eden Hazard, Pedro in club’s attacking setup, it will be very difficult for the Englishman to get regular game-time this season.

It is believed that West Ham and Wolverhampton were interested in the youngster’s signature in July but none of them could convince the Blues to release him on loan.

Torino have also made enquiries about the player’s availability and reports suggest they are willing to make move for his service before the end of the month

However, Sampdoria are now set to rival their Serie A counterparts as they hope to find a lasting solution to their goalscoring problem.

Should Sarri sanction his move to the Serie A side, Abraham would be going on his third consecutive loan deal.
