Manchester United stand-in captain Paul Pogba has been criticised for his comments over the side’s 3-2 lost to Brighton.

The Frenchman said he has a wrong attitude during the game and that was why the team lost to their opponents in such a manner.

According to Pogba, his teammates didn’t go into the team with the right mind and attitude, therefore, they lost to a very determined side.

However, former Manchester United player Paul Scholes has hit back at the player for his comments.

The former midfielder told said Pogba’s comment isn’t an excuse for losing in such manner against a side, whom many tagged as ‘minnows’

Scholes, who was very furious with the playmaker, charged him to make his attitude right and ensure that the team are on the same wavelength so as to return back to winning ways as soon as possible.

Pogba and Mourinho are reportedly having a huge rift and that is telling on the team’s performances.

It was said that the 25-year-old playmaker has refused to speak directly to the manager while Mourinho is also not ready to make peace the player.

Yesterday’s result wasn’t a great result for the team, who were hoping to make it two wins from two matches.
