Speculation were unfolded about Paris Saint-Germain player Adrien Rabiot’s concern in his departure to Liverpool.
Liverpool have however responded to such a claim.
The 23-year-old was rumoured to be linked with Jurgen Klopp’s side a few days ago but according to Liverpool Echo who followed up the claim openly told the reporters that they were amused when such news got to them.
They, however, denied such claim as Liverpool already have many options in the midfield.
Liverpool bought two additional midfielders last summer to join the likes of Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum.
They see no reason why they should go for Rabiot. And they even added that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will soon be added to the team in a few months time that the options they have are well enough and able to help the team prove a point this season.
Chelsea and Liverpool suffer transfer blow to sign world class star
Even though the French man’s contract is due to expire, he was expecting a pay rise and many more games from his club, which could be accepted before his contract runs out.
And the French player could as well join Pastore in Italy but in a different club: perhaps to AC Milan who already showed interest. Any evidence of Klopp contacting the French player on phone about his transfer was also denied and were still claiming that the French player had no intention of leaving for Liverpool.
