Since Arsene Wenger left the Gunners in May, things haven’t been the same at the Emirates Stadium, that’s according to former Arsenal player Tomas Rosicky.

Truly, there have been tremendous changes to the Emirates stadium as there is a new manager, new tactics, new atmosphere, new players and new training methods.

Since the start of Unai Emery’s reign as Arsenal boss, many players have showered praise on the manager’s tactical approach and discipline, which they said ‘was far different from the Frenchman’s.

Last weekend witnessed the coming together of former Arsenal players at the Emirates Stadium as they battled former Real Madrid players.

Having played a 1-1 draw in the regulation time, Arsenal Legends defeated the Galacticos Legends via penalty shootouts to emerge this year’s Champions.

However, one of the Gunners Legends Tomas Rosicky, who played for the North London club for 10 years (2006- 2016), has revealed how he felt upon his return to the Emirates stadium.

According to him, it is strange for him to be at the club without speaking with Arsene Wenger. He said the whole former players were uncomfortable during the encounter due to the Frenchman’s absence.

“Is it weird to come here without Arsene Wenger? It is a little bit, I have to say. If you come here it’s not possible to not think about him.” he confessed.

Rosicky played 247 matches with the Gunners during his 10 years stay at Emirates Stadium.
