What a quick transformation! Former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has made the mark at Chelsea after changing the already cultured defensive tactics to a cautious possessive footballing team.

Chelsea FC made an impressive start to the season after finding themselves behind league leaders, Liverpool on one goal difference.

Everyone is expecting the Blues to have a go when they welcome Cardiff City knowing fully well that Kepa Arrizabalaga would once again be part of the spectators.

Countless of accolades have been given to Sarri for his quick training that saw Chelsea adapt fast – which shows that the 59-year-old man who is always strict with his cigarettes is as well strict with his possessive tactics.

Former Liverpool and Real Madrid star Michael Owen was dazzled by what he has observed so far in North London.
According to Owen:

“Maurizio Sarri is certainly changing the way Chelsea approach their football and his refreshing attacking attitude is already making him a fans’ favourite at the Bridge.”

Before the start of the season, many would have predicted that the Blues would struggle and may not see Champions league spot.

Even though the league is just starting, we can see that Chelsea is also adapting to this new style positively which could as well bring the high hope of contesting for the title this season.

According to previous records so far, Chelsea have ended up winning the Premier League titles any time they won 4 successive matches at the beginning of the season.

Pedro posted on his Instagram page to pacify the nerves of his followers.

“Everything’s ok despite the incident at the end of the game. Come on Blues!”

While at the end of the match Sarri replied with response to Pedro’s status:

“I don’t know exactly the situation,” the Blues manager said.

The 59-year-old manager admitted that he wasn’t happy with the score-line but he was pleased with the three points.

Sarri’s men will travel to London to face West Ham on Thursday, a place where they struggled under Antonio Conte with a 1-nil defeat last season.

Olivier Giroud

Besiktas are showing interest in signing Chelsea player and World Cup winner Olivier Giroud.

The Chelsea forward’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season but unless the London Club renews his contract, he would have to join the Turkish club.

Besiktas already sold Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo to an oil-rich elite in Saudi Arabia Al Nassr after losing Cenk Tosun to Everton last season.

They continue to show interest in the Chelsea player who has impressed with his contribution to Maurizio Sarri’s football.

There could be no sign of Giroud leaving the club after Eden Hazard suggested him as a better pair than Alvaro Morata.

While Giroud is yet to score a goal for Chelsea under the new boss, and Morata has fallen below the French player in Sarri’s pecking order, there’s been an urgent need for Chelsea to sign a more creative player who can both contribute and score goals.

In a business point of view, If Chelsea can lure Giroud to Besiktas in January before his contract expires, they may need to sign the Serbian forward Alexander Mitrovic who already caught the eyes of the London club else, Giroud would be free to join any other club of his choice when his contract eventually expires next season.

Loads of talent: will he join Chelsea or Liverpool next summer?

Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Liverpool sent scouts to watch Queen Park Rangers wonder kid Eberechi Eze.

Eze is in a brilliant form which skyrocketed the scouts to sit in observation as they watched him play against Millwall on Monday night at Loftus Road.

Eberechi stole the show while he scored in the very match that saw his team earned the much-needed victory.

The young star has been bright and impressive while playing behind the striker in the championship. Whilst his club was tipped to be listed among the relegated team this season, he has given QPR a dazzling hope of his conservative performance.

The diminutive, conservative and skilful player has entertained his fans with three goals which makes him a potential player to leave his current club sooner or rather than later.

On different club’s perspective; Chelsea is keen on adding young talents to their squad; Maurizio Sarri will be considered lucky with plenty options to pick from while Mauricio Pochettino is in need of attackers due to lack of extra legs in his team.

Liverpool have a host of brilliant talent but it will be very competitive for the QPR player to join with Saido Mane, Mo Salah, Daniel Sturridge, Divork Origi and co in a very tough role already mastered by Klopp’s triumvirate.

While Man City still have quality young players from the bench who are yet to stamp their shirt in Pep Guardiola’s radar.

For Eze to get a grip on any of the aforementioned club, he has to be very good.
