Chelsea have become a new prospect of signing young talented players after registering Ethan Ampadu for a five-year deal with the London club.
The former Exeter player moved to Chelsea in 2017 under then manager Antonio Conte, made seven first-team appearances afterwards.
He made his mark with Sarri after his inspiring performance in pre-season. He was the joint force in his international debut when he helped Wales to get a 4:1 victory against the Republic of Ireland.
Sarri placed his trust on him and has made it known to the football club that Ethan is in his plans this season, which was why it was never in his manuscript to loan the 18-year-old as other youths.
“I’m really proud and happy,” said Ethan
Ampadu is very compact in defense as he is in the midfield. He was nicknamed by some Chelsea fans as
The combination of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho. His long passes and long balls have been prodigious while his tackles were timely.
Sarri has got a special player in hand and with what the Blues have started seeing recently, it means youth can start working hard because they now have a chance.
Ampadu also added to his words that:
“I’m looking forward to the next five years and all I have got to do now is continue to work hard, and hopefully good things will happen”
Chelsea will face Greek side PAOK on Thursday before returning for a London derby against West Ham on Sunday, which means Ampadu could stir his teammates to their 6th consecutive victory.
