Not for the 3 points, why Kompany wants to defeat Liverpool on Sunday

It is Super Sunday this weekend and it’s going to be a fight between the two elephants of the Premier League.

The game which will happen at the Anfield will see Manchester City battle Liverpool to retain the first position on the log table.

Both teams are in high form and have gone unbeaten this season. The only difference between them both is goal difference as they both have the same points.

This makes the weekend game more interesting and City captain Vincent Kompany thinks it is more than a fight for the 3 points.

Kompany says the season is still in its early stage but the form of both clubs makes the game more important as it could determine who wins the Premier League this season, knowing that they have both gone unbeaten so far.

The City captain admits that Liverpool have a better advantage because they will be playing in front of their fans but his side but be able to pull through.

However, the Manchester City side have a better advantage to rest having already played their Champions League game on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, he expressed confidence in his team’s ability to come out victorious at the end of the day.
